BNI is a 24 year old business and professional organisation that allows only one person from each trade or profession to join a chapter.

With over 5,576 active chapters, and 111,733 members, it is the most successful business referral organisation in the world.

How does BNI work?

Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you because all the other members carry copies of your card with them.

When they meet someone new that could use your products or services they hand out your card and personally recommend you.

We're currently a team of 18 different local businesses. Each week we bring each other referals that we've found from our networks.

We average about 60 referrals a week, and have passed over £200,000 of real business in the past year.

Quiz night a great success!

Last Wednesday our BNI chapter held an exciting quiz night for members, family and friends.

In total there were 8 teams, and the top spots were tightly contested, with the lead changing hands throughout the night.

Indeed, some teams were so keen to win that they even resorted to kidnapping members of other teams, and to trying to manipulate the quiz-master for extra points.

But Tony was having none of it, and in the end Grattan had to admit defeat, as ThreeHats (Bindy, Dave and Jake) rompped home at the last.

A triumphant Jake commented: "I'm frankly over the moon. We've decided to keep our team together for the next battle too - Bindy's bowling is our secret weapon. And I hear that Grattan is rubbish at bowling too."
